idk.. i'm partial to names that referencing things... others may not be.. maybe they won't get the reference... could do a series based on a director, actor, decade, music genre, etc.

Here are some Bill Murray references that could work for beer names... but IPA or Stout or Saison or Wild Ale or Porter or Bitter or whatever the style is after the name

I'm Sailing!
Don't Drive Angry
Au revoir gopher
This Mr. Stay Puft's okay!
I feel good, I feel great, I feel wonderful
Baby Steps
Needlenose Ned? Ned the Head?... Bing!
I'd like to say a prayer and drink to world peace
You've made a cuckold of me

idk.. nobody pays me to do this ****.. just think it should be fun, engaging, more so then here is our IPA, here is our blonde, here is our coconut/coffee/vanilla stout

some places do do this well.. Kane and Carton do a fantastic job.... maybe it was because things were newer in NJ for craft when they started... just seems like a lot of the new places the past 18 months are maybe in such a rush they aren't thinking about the branding aspect of things so much
I've suggested Cock Knocker IPA to Conclave with a label showing someone getting kicked in the nuts.

Touch tips? Maybe rephrase that.

Well, there's this which just hit stores over the last week or so:
Exit_7.jpg

I don't know if it's any good. I have kind of a macabre interest in it, though.

For the most part, i've liked the Exit series. The Oyster stout was tasty. Agree this one scares me a bit. I think i'd like to start with 2oz and determine if i need 25oz.

by the way i worked on tenenbaums, and was in the room for "you've made a cuckold of me" 100% as good as you think

haha thats ******* awesome!

I can pick up what you are putting down with once he says it, it's his and wanting to own it as it's your product, your brand. I agree 100% with that and hope for more NJ spots and all breweries really to take hold of that ethos and buy into what they are selling. Too often I feel places haven't even quite convinced themselves yet on their vision and when that happens you get some names/pictures/logos etc that just come off to me as contrived and thrown together. Basically the throw **** against the wall and see what sticks approach.

Just tried Brotherton IPA. Holy **** this beer is good. Juicy, tons of tropical fruit, hazy as ****. We may have another serious player in the North East hops game.

I assume Heirloom will be gone long before I can make it down, but damn does that sound tasty.

ugh... anyone from north jersey want to pick me up on the way down?

beers at my place after?

Wish I knew bottle counts...one PP maybe means it will last though. If there were HH cans I would go and get them as consolation if the bottles were sold out.

curious how many people will rush out for this...

^^yeah me too and how many bottles they have 1pp could be they have 250 or they could have 1k.. who knows haha

can't make it over there today :( maybe tomorrow if things last till then

Anyone want to give me the cliff notes on the hill farmstead membership thing.I'm too tired to read it. Is it $100 to be in it and then pay for each beer?

Yes. $100 for membership and the right to buy beers each month. Some beers will be same limit as the public, some will be better limits than the public, and some will be club only. When you register you have to designate whether your pickups will be monthly, quarterly, or semi annually.

Not that anyone here doesn't already know this, but conclave is ******* awesome. Had their beer at the TB charity share, but this was my first time checking the place out. Timmush was super hospitable, beers are awesome, and I can't wait to go back. Thanks again Tim!

Coming up to visit family and see the Seahawks jets game in a couple weeks. Making it a point to stop there. Can't wait.
