Thank you gentlemen!

I want to, but the timing hasn’t been good. This year I was seeing my in-laws in the Midwest on the date Paul had it, may next year things will work out, I even have my husband talked into going. Now as far as the trophy, if I don’t touch any brewing equipment or ingredients while I’m there I can’t win, right? :ghostly:
Advice: create HBT burner acct, just show up and insult Paulie. You'll fit right in! Stay as far away from the trophy as possible or it will stick with you

Well, yesterday. This and a bbq rubbed bacon (of the month)

@TheDudeLebowski Well I’d be in good company if I did “win”. Did @Yooper really take it home on the plane?
Lol Yes. We were hoping for it to get lost in transit to the Great White North. It's like an evil Tiki doll. We can't lose it. Actually, Melana took care of it for the year. Bless her soul.

Yeah I’ve been researching this little guy for awhile. I bought this one over eBay, a deal I couldn’t let slip by. The potential to hook up to a tank should I branch out further was a big selling point as well.
I wish my American amber was ready to package. I’m itching to test this out haha

You may also want to look into the small Torpedo kegs, much cheaper, less flashy; however, they'll have a larger footprint in the fridge (should that be an issue).

Fridge space is somewhat of a concern right now. We have a beverage fridge in the basement, but it’s for all beverages, not just mine. The ukeg is a convenient fit, plus should travel reasonably well. Torpedos are a bit tall if I recall. I’ve had my eye on a cannonball keg (1.75gal) though. One of those should fit nicely. Tank would be a little trickier. I just couldn’t resist the half price on a new in box deal. Alcohol may have also been a factor. I’m hoping to not burn through too many cartridges, but my wife already been added to our amazon subscribe and save haha.

The Torpedo is pretty much the same height as the uKeg (I have the half gallon). It is wide though...probably 2.5x wider.

I still have some of my carts...I need to just try to use those because I only have small paintball tanks which are a nightmare to work with.

Ahh I see now. I was comparing the 2.5G, silly me. I’ve seen the paintball set up, heard that it’s definitely not ideal. I debated going that direction as well, as a space saver. I know when I purchased my fridge, I had it figured that I could fit a 15-16in high keg and still maintains a utility shelf for everything else in there. The tank is where it gets tricksy. Possible, but will take some maneuvering and modifying.

I put the kegged beer in the fridge to cool for a few days, hit it with Co2 outside of the fridge, then back in the fridge without Co2 connected, and rinse and repeat. That seems to solve any issues (so far I've only kegged water before running out of Co2) with it otherwise having to be constantly connected to Co2. I have only one fridge in the house, so space is quite an issue right now.

A sack of Belgian Pilsner malt, some tri clamp fittings, and in a few days a steam condenser so I no longer have to run an exhaust fan

NBR (not beer related).

New LCD screen for my wife's Chromebook. She had her Chromebook on her lap Monday morning when the cat jumped on her lap, the Chromebook went flying and the screen cracked when it hit the tile floor. Replaced it in about 10 minutes and she's back in business.
