Update for those whom were asking about the Lavatools Javelin Pro.

It is quick and accurate, defiantly gives the thermapen a run for its money, especially at $52.

at a similar point as you in regards to sir plate build. had this waiting for me on friday when i got home from work:

two 5 liter erlenmeyer flasks and two stir bars. also got a mash stir paddle, keg lube, ph meter, electrode storage solution, calibration solution, oxygenator kit for pitching yeast and some o-rings for my ro/di system.

and on saturday, got replacement sight glass shields from spike brewing.

A few water chemicals, Fast Pitch starter kit(yeah I know I could make my own...that requires time and energy), 2 spring tip bottle fillers to replace the cheap NB ones, and some Wyeast 1056 for a beer I am thinking of experimenting with. And my Concord 15 gallon kettle to replace my 8 gallon Bayou boil kettle(that is now the HLT kettle). My 55 pounds of Belgian Pislner didn't arrive, didn't ship til today for some reason.

Now I need to build a stir plate...

Was JUST logging in when the brown truck rolled up! Got my 20G kettle from Concord Cookware! I knew this was a big pot, but man is it EVER!..LOL..Now to actually DO something on building my electric brewery!...Still going to be doing 5G batches, but leaves open the option of those 10 or maybe even 15G batches! Now, to get more people to drink my beer other then just myself!
