Mangrove M27 Belgian Ale Yeast, AHS Belgian Dubbel Kit, AHS Oatmeal Stout Kit, AHS Amber Bock Ale (will be made with Munton's Premium Gold Yeast), and an AHS Pacific Saison Kit. I am planning on starting 5 batches of beer and 2 batches of Saison Mead before Oct 31...

I also have a Holiday Ale kit coming and will start that the 1st week of November or maybe replace one of the October batches for that so it will be good and ready for the Holiday season.

I got the modern ash catcher attachment for my Weber kettle grill. I should have done that years ago.

I got one of those a few years ago...greatest thing ever! Had to get one for my parents for xmas last year when they saw mine

Where did you find these? I looked on line and can't find one. Looks as if Weber doesn't want people to upgrade on the cheap

Goodies from a friend in Germany.

Kinder Hippos!

:)

I want Kinder Eggs, but America...

:(

Haven't had one yet, but I have heard good things. The next time I will ask for Kinder Eggs

I loved em as a kid. I don't remember if we had them in the UK, but I know I got them a lot if we went over to Germany or Switzerland.

There's a German gourmet shop 20 mins away that actually sold them for a while. I'm guessing they got caught or something, because they don't sell them any more.

Whoa boy, Pumpkin Beers. My favorite.

*gag*

I got both of mine from Amazon (one for my mom and one for me) but I see all they have is for the 18" right now

I got this:

The Pliny is dated 9/10.

The Supplication... will be saved for something special, maybe.

A new 2L, heavy duty, wide mouth Erlenmeyer ($19) to replace the other one I just broke.

I almost pulled the trigger on their 35% off deal with those kits. Havent ever attempted wine but have been thinking about doing so lately. Is this your first one?

No. I have made about 20 of these kits for my wife. Wine kits are even easier than that lovely extract sour I'm going to send you next month.

Haha I was just thinking about that sour this morning as I was reading the malt extract portion of Mastering Homebrew. My dad's side of the family is big into red wine and not a lot of beer, so I've thought about making them a batch to try it out. May have to do that soon.

Cool lil gadget. Decent price too. As for what came in the mail for me today??? Friggin' jury duty! They better find me a handicapped spot to park right near the court building!...

I got the results of my first competition yesterday. I got second in my category (2008 guidelines category 15 German wheat and Rye) and a 28 overall with my extract German Hefeweizen. There were only 5 entries in my category. I really do not have anything to measure this against, but I have a certificate so I am pretty happy. I have three beers in another competition already and am looking for more.

Two packets of pH buffer powder pillows. Not sure why it's the highlight of my day.....

They are really easy to make the only thing I do is discard that saw dust they call wood chips and use oak cubes because the wine is too aggressively oaky with those tiny shsrds. I like Enocubes much better they are a little more expensive but it's only a couple dollars. I used them in my sour quad as well.

These 3 kits from the Midwest sale last month came today. Gonna have some quality easy brewing time and then get back to perfecting some BIAB all grain recipes with plenty of home brew to sip on. Yay pipeline.
