First time visiting a local brewpub called the Mack House in Plantation, FL. Very nice.

At Lauderale again but it is their fourth Anniversary after all. View to the parking lot. Everglades power station on the left, which powers this ole town. Painting of Joshua James, who started the lifeboat service in this ole country. View attachment 581214
On our way home from Brewfest today, hit up Pelican in Pacific City (good beers, $$$ food), De Garde in Tillamook (nothing but sours, pretty good), and Fort George in Astoria (great beer, good food, great time). Had a great time at Brewfest as we always do, met some wonderful people and picked up some ideas for the brewery. Happy to be home with my own though.
We hit Fort George last August. Awesome brews and food. Did you hit the hunted distillery, Pilot House? No joke, sh!t happened right in front of me. The proprietor had a few stories after that incident. On our way home from Brewfest today, hit up Pelican in Pacific City (good beers, $$$ food), De Garde in Tillamook (nothing but sours, pretty good), and Fort George in Astoria (great beer, good food, great time). Damn, everybody kept asking how I heard about this place and just could not remember. Now I do, thanks! [emoji109]Glad you took my suggestion (different thread) to heart! Did they have the sour beer slushees at 26 degree?
Finally made it to Dogfish Head this week-end in Rehoboth Beach. Beer was good and food was good. Really enjoyed the dry-rubbed wings and the Cheesesteak with mushrooms and their 90 minute IPA cheese sauce. YUM!
Where is this? Looked like England.I went to Hook Norton last week, you an see an album of pics I took here

It's one of the few remaining victorian tower breweries, still family owned - their head brewer is 5th generation I think, was steam powered up to 2006 and has a small but respectable estate of about 35 pubs
