Of all his amazing songs, why that one?!

I'm pulling out the heavy artillery tonight to exorcise "Part Time Lover." If The Undertones can't do it, I'll have to unleash "Tom's Diner."

About a month or so back seen a TV commercial for a cruise line and they were using the "love boat" song and it gave me a ear worm for awhile, "On the love boat all shiny and new" kept coming into my head until Stevie Ray Vaughn helped me out. For a couple days when I would hear "On the love boat all shiny and new" I added " you got me love struck baby and I know just what to do" followed by the guitar break. Was glad when that went away.

This has been bouncing around in my head for about 6 months now. When it first started playing up there, I didn't even know what song it was and had to hum it for Google. I wasn't born yet when it came out and I still have no idea how it got in my head...

The first couple of weeks, it really bugged me. Now it's the new normal and I'm surprised when I realize another song is getting play-time up there. Those breaks never last very long though and I am humming Sunshine before long.
