One of this week's crowlers
Really basic recipe with a short 30m boil. Next time I'd probably reverse the C40 and the white wheat, but it was all the wheat I had on hand. Love me some golden promise but I'm generally too cheap to keep it in stock. Really digging the clarity, too.

The next test bottle of the Another New Year American Pale Ale (ANY APA).

It's a little more carbonated, and the flavor reminds me of Sam Adams without the hoppy bitterness at the finish. In other words, a little sweet, but very well mannered.

This one's a keeper!

Wow, 18%? I did like 6oz in a 5gal batch once and it was overwhelming for me. Nice looking beer!

Thanks, man. Since I made the first piwo grodziskie with 100% oaksmoke (which is a lot easier to handle than beechsmoke), I really like those kind of beers. This one is a crossover between a pils and a piwo grodziskie.
