Thanks for your kind word! They both had the same base and being two sheets to the wind when bottling very well could be mis labeled. I'll PM you everything I got. Happy you enjoyed!@PianoMan coffee RIS. Aroma is amazing (nutty, vanilla, toasty, roasty, coconut), head retention for days, cappuccino head color, and creamy.
I wonder if you confused this one with your coconut? Cap is COFFEE RIS, but I'm getting a lot of shaved, roasted coconut.
I could seriously drink this for days...PM recipe and process if you don't mind, curious. Definitely gonna modify mine based on this.
A little boozy but it is extremely well masked! Loving it... I just need a donut now to round it out. Hands down one of the best homebrews that I've had, ever...one of the best RIS I have ever had, too!

Red tape is a dead give away! Little sweet for me since it didn't carb. Poured the rest into a keg to see how it carbs up.View attachment 608639
BA quad from one of the FOTDs. @PianoMan I think. It’s pretty smooth. No carbonation from the pour. Smells boozy, but the taste is a smooth velvety finish! Surprising at 11.5% abv. Well done! I apologize if this was someone else’s. If so speak up.
Cheers!
Ben
Found this for $23. It's ok...View attachment 608635View attachment 608636

I’m not drinking this but had to share. While at Ocelot tonight I was chatting with the bar tender. Come to find out he doesn’t help out much with the brewing b/c he runs the front end (bar, events, etc...) but is a home brewer. Chatting beers and what not. Real cool guy like all of us! His top three favorite styles: 1 - mixed fermentation beers, 2 - IPAs & 3 - Pilsners. Well I didn’t have any extra mixed fermentation beers in my cooler in the trunk of my rental car, but some IPAs. Brought him in a can of Simcoe Bomb by Sloop Brewing. He was very thankful and said enjoy this bottle in return. Totally blown away by his generosity! I offered to pay for it and he said no. He enjoyed the good talk about beer and brewing and the gesture of giving him a beer on top of it.
Had to share with everyone b/c the brewing community is an awesome group! I have meet and made some friends here on HBT that are like this too!
Good night! Time for water and bed! 5am will be here way too soon.
