Wow this hits the mark!

Brewed some more of this but added a couple pounds of munich. Wonder if I can hold Hothead close to 100* with it being about 30 in the garage right now. And the flash made me realize I need to clean off the top of the ferm fridge

@PianoMan BW
Fruity and tart very nice (if you added fruit to this you could call it a sour patch kid)

There was peach in the primary. Glad you liked it. So I've had 5 or 6 different BW and they all tasted differently so no clue if this is true to style. For the record it's a Berliner Weisse about 4%.

Hey look...I found one!

HB Oktoberfest marzen. Got this glass from Castle Church Brewing community which is a Lutheran Church and brewery that does services on Sunday!

Brought some beers with me to enjoy & trade while on the road. Thanks to a friend in our homebrew club who gave me a few cans to enjoy this week while traveling, including this one since I missed the can release.

@imasickboy - Is this how it is supposed to taste? I feel like I'm drinking syrup, in a good way...if that's a thing? This is probably the most obscure beer like thing I've ever drink...

Yep. That was Sam Calagione's recipe (Dogfish Head) from his book, Extreme Brewing. Pale malt, Orange Blossom Honey, Cranberries. It's totally delicious, but definitely unusual. I brew that one at least once every other year.

@PianoMan coffee RIS. Aroma is amazing (nutty, vanilla, toasty, roasty, coconut), head retention for days, cappuccino head color, and creamy.

I wonder if you confused this one with your coconut? Cap is COFFEE RIS, but I'm getting a lot of shaved, roasted coconut.

I could seriously drink this for days...PM recipe and process if you don't mind, curious. Definitely gonna modify mine based on this.

A little boozy but it is extremely well masked! Loving it :) ... I just need a donut now to round it out. Hands down one of the best homebrews that I've had, ever...one of the best RIS I have ever had, too!

Is it supposed be this thick? I almost want to pour it over pancakes, lol, and now that I wrote that out I may just do that for breakfast tomorrow :)

Yep. It definitely has a full-bodied mouthfeel, despite it's relatively low FG. In addition, that batch was brewed 367 days ago.

Oddly enough, that was bottled from the keg. I must have done a decent job for it to be as well carbed as it is. I swear I sent that to you a looong time ago.

You did ... been sitting on older, aged brews like this for a minute. Getting through them now though :)

Very unique brew.
