If I am reading that correctly, I really feel for ya buddy. That sit hits home.

One of those situations where you question how someone could be so depressed yet have so many people in their life who care about them and do everything they can. Just makes you wonder what goes through their head...so sad :°(

Need a hug

Wow..."Triple IPA?". About 2lbs of hops in a 5gal batch?
Well I guess it would we consider the triple I have 20 lb of grain. 6 oz of scheduled hops and 2 OZ of dry hops. Because it's such a high gravity I'm going to pitch two packets of us 05 and put them on a stir plate in a 4l starter for 48 hours for the heck of it. I did a 2.5l with one packet last week on an Imperial Stout and it took off in like 5 hours!

Make sure you reoxygenate at 12hrs after fermentation. Big beers like that needs lots-o-O2. Are those 6oz cryo hops? Just the 9% Pliney clone I make uses 14oz regular hops.

HB Dubbel and HB mead.

You mean 12 hours after fermentation is completely done I presume? I do not believe so just regular vacuum sealed pellets. I guess I might need to pick up some more hops from the local homebrew shop

Be sure to reoxygenate 12hr after fermentaion STARTS. It'll stall out before 12% otherwise. I have lots of personal experience with this issue and my big RISs. They'd stall around 10% no matter how much yeast was used. HBT member recommend to reoxygenate after 12hrs, issue resolved. Just passing info on to the next generation brewers! [emoji2]
