I don’t have the explanation and I can’t recall he difference if this beer and the last from @pshankstar. I still get a slight bit of apple aroma. Maybe it’s my sense of smell playing games with me or potentially a hop. This beer stands far above the last where it’s more balanced. Not as much bitterness or at least less perceived. I’d be curious how different the hop schedule was between the two beers.

Ive got some floaters in there so not sure if I just poured a little heavy from a bottle conditioned beer or maybe a good cold crashing could clear it up.

As before, I’m still killing it. [emoji23]

Nice job. Seems like maybe that aroma could be worked on a bit from my perspective.

HB from @pshankstar. A good beer. Maybe a tad bit bitter for a pale ale and I’m sensing a slight bit of apple aroma. Did you get that too?

Under pitched? Lack of oxygen? Needs more conditioning? Dunno.

I still killed it.

Thanks for the honest feedback! I brewed it back in June and it’s the last few bottles left. I didn’t get the Apple character but I wonder if it was a result from bottling it off the keg. Not sure where it came from and maybe the aroma hops are dropping out with age. I do dry hop in the serving keg and I feel like I have mixed feelings about that.

I’ll PM you the details on the two beers later. The aim was to be different yeast only. But the house yeast version I preferred over the WPL001 beer.

Another Hag or six. Kegs’ about to kick and it’s three-days old. Smacked.

What do you use for a canner?

All American 225, it does 12 or 16 ounce cans. I've used the hand crank and also chucked a drill up to it, you just have to be careful with the drill as far as how long you run it and how fast. If you go too fast any beer or liquid on the side flies everywhere.

You've got your own canning machine?

Sure do, I keg everything and then use a beer gun to fill cans as needed/wanted. Cans are definitely more expensive than bottles but I prefer them way more when heading to the beach or camping. I canned a NEIPA before and did a test to see how it would fair, it was still good 3 months later. Color was still spot on and hops/flavor didn't really fade much at all.

Quite the piece if kit. I’m jealous.

How are you sealing the cans?
