Funny the vintage Miller High Life pint (My Rauchbier) is very similar to the Schlenkerla glass and bottles. It was unplanned, more of a coincidence.

Lights Went Black by Institution Ales, Camarillo, CA. Stout with raspberries, Madagascar vanilla beans, and Ghanaian cacao nibs.

Pale Malt 70%
Lactose, 8%
Chocolate 350, 8%
Roasted Barley, 6%
Crystal 60, 6%
Carapils, 4%

Magnum, 60min, 40 ibus
East Kent Goldings, 10min, 4 ibus

Placed on Wyeast 1056 yeast cake.

Cold crashed after 16 days.
OG= 1.082. FG=1.017. ABV=8.5%
Used RO and reminalized for 65 Calcium, 50 sulfate and 90 Chloride.

Soaked 2 sliced up vanilla beans in bourbon (Ezra Brooks), 2 weeks.
Ground RevKev's Deathwish and Valhalla coffee beans and soaked in additional bourbon for 15min. French pressed everything and added all to keg.

Kinda done with trading until we get back from Santa Fe at the end of March. Plan on a slew of lighter beers and hard lemonaids for the spring/summer season. Stouts will always be a staple tho.
