finsfan Rye Not Citra Rye Saison. This has huge Citra aroma I could smell it as soon as I popped the cap. Also huge citra hop flavor this could be A Rye Saison/IPA. Outstanding brew.

Thank you sir. That was an experiment with using rye for the first time but turned out pretty well haha certainly looks better then the coffee I'm drinking. Cheers!

Edit: i never calculated the ibu's but i image its up there for a saison. I did a hopstand with 3oz whole leaf and then dry hopped with 1oz citra and 2 oz mosaic.

You guys think I ruined my beer? Not sure, it tastes ok, but the mouthfeel is weird.

Last coffee, onto water. A concert tonight, rifle practice for the eldest at 0500 tomorrow, a 10k start at 0730, working a beer fest from 1130 - 1800 and a homebrew club meeting on Sunday.

FML.

Third cup of joe. Any of you floccers ever heard of First International Bancshares, Inc? Trying to find out what happened to this bank but cant find anything useful. Maybe one of you Texas guys remember them being absorbed or becoming insolvent?

You could contact the division of corporations in Delaware or if that fails the court of chancery that oversees them. If they folded or were bought then they ought to have a record of it.

Your google-fu is weak, son.

Found this:
Clue 1

"The Austin National Bank merged with First International Bancshares, Inc in 1981 and adopted the InterFirst Bank name. At the time this was the largest merger in Texas banking history."

Then this:
Clue 2

Inactive as of: June 6, 1987
Closing history: Merged without Assistance into
Acquiring institution: First RepublicBank Dallas, National Association

According to Wikipedia, that bank shuttered within a year, then "In 1988 NCNB Corporation acquired First RepublicBank from the FDIC, and in 1991 changed its name to NationsBank"

NationsBank was eventually acquired by Bank of America.

sampling a batch made after deathbrewer's Smash apa recipe (vienna/northern brewer).

Batch came out well, doing great after only 2 weeks fermenter/1 week bottle it taste good.

Water. Trying to work but also dog sitting a 9-month old boxer pup. He's a hot mess. My nearly 5 year old pup looks exhausted.

Coffee; finding out I may be in NYC on May 5th for work at a nerd convention. Maybe I can go with everybody and just play hooky for the day.

I found most of that already. I had searched for both of the other holders on this stock, Mercantile National Bank at Dallas (many mergers and is now JPMorgan Chase) and also the countersigned First National Bank in Dallas (which you also pointed out in now Bank of America). This issue though is if they just merged or were declared insolvent/failed prior to the megers. If they never failed, then the stocks are still worth something. Thanks for the help though! I personally work with life and LTC insurance, but work for a financial planning firm. My boss couldnt find anything on these stocks and now has me doing it....

Edit: NVM, they did go insolvent. Republic Bank failed before the 1989 purchase. I read that yesterday in FDIC transcripts when trying to find out information on the other holders. I just hadnt seen the connections of First International Bancshares with InterFist. Thanks again for the help man! This helps a ton. Maybe I will set aside 6 RU55's for you haha

This is the source that connects both of the stocks I was looking for (Republic of Texas Corporation stock as well). Seems like all these mergers did nothing but help them fail haha.

Ok. Now I'm thirsty.

I don't understand how there are people in director positions at small companies that are absolutely ****ing clueless. "I'd like for you to write a SQL queries to pull data from our Domino databases."

That's a lot of dope.

Coffee. Reading @paulthenurse 's pizza oven build thread. Don't know why.

To add to the rant. Spoke to three companies in total today. Two of the three that are hiring are doing so setting expectations way too damned high without key team/players in place. The more companies I talk to, the more I loved my job.

Pics please. I want to get a boxer when we get our house. Or a goat. I haven't decided yet, but most likely a boxer.

Water. All these jerks went on lunch so I finally have a chance to breathe, god forbid...maybe even get a coffee. Nice not having boss here but twice the work, F you, pay me.

Go with both. Don't want it to be an only kid.

It's fun to read the banter between those guys. Some great busts on one another. Plus it's Friday, what are you supposed to do, work?! ;)

It's great having an 11.3% ABV beer on an empty stomach. A quick, mild buzz is nice.
