How is it? I wish I wouldn't have passed that up when I saw it on the shelf in Chicago.

For the price its hard. Big tart cherry. Deepest red ive seen. It was 10 bucks overseas so add a few for shipping. I enjoyed it and glad i got one.

Just got back from watching the game with some friends at B-Dubs where I had a Hoptical Illusion, a Lagunitas IPA, and a Shiner Bock. I didn't really have anything invested in the game, but I thought it was a pretty good game up until the last few minutes. Now home and sharing my one and only KBS with my brother because I am a super nice guy like that.

My last bottle was like someone cut balsamic with acetone.

That is an accurate description. I saw on UNTAPPD someone described it as steak sauce which I also thought was accurate and it made me laugh. I'm glad I only had 1. I wish I could describe this in a way that would do it justice. Great aroma and flavor, smooth body, thick creamy head... I could drink this every day and be quite happy.

Thank you for showing me how great home brew can be Mark. Amazing.

Glad you enjoyed it! My first batches of that beer were nothing near what it is now, so just keep tweaking your recipe and nail down the variables (fermentation temp being the most critical I think.) You'll get there!

I think there is a bad batch. Someone said the same, but I've had it a number of times and had it in December back in CA and it was delicious.

Take dog. There's no way I would walk like I do without my dog. I finally went for a nice walk yesterday morning. My ankle is still on fire and the guy says I should consider surgery. Surgery means no driving until the cast is off. No driving is impossible for me since I'm the only one in the house. Anyway, it was nice to get out. Bummed today's weather sucks because doing it everyday is pretty crucial.
