Mountain Dew to wash nastiness out of my mouth. Just led a doctored beer tasting. Flavor standards kit that had diacetyl, DMS, sulfury (hydrogen sulfide), cork taint/musty (2,4,6 trichloroanisole), metallic (ferrous sulphate), banana (isoamyl acetate), clove (4 vinyl guiacol), skunky (don't remember the compound name), oxidized/papery (trans 2 nonenol), and hop oil (not specified but something earthy and resinous).

And then self doctored with tannin (using wine tannin) chlorophenol (Chloroseptic), oxidized (sherry), and then lactic and acetic with lactic acid and white wine vinegar.

Going to do this again later in the year with the Siebel kit.

5 week old Pilsner.

Yeah. 150+ posts since I left the birthday dinner last night, then finishing up craftsman badge work today. Those won't be read. Hope everyone had fun and everyone's bracket blew up equally. Having a quart of this - dessert before dinner I say!

I did the siebel kit with natty light. Ridiculous but one made natty light taste good. Almond or something.
