Just got back from a 2.5 hour service for Easter and my son joining the Catholic church and taking his first communion there. They talk more than Baptists and don't sing as good!

HB Mead. Pretty sure my taste buds have been slowly numbing over the years. DiL tastes a hint of apple which I don't. I'm assuming it's acetaldehyde since the fermentation stopped during the winter storm/5 day power outage but I did my best to restart. It never finished as low as hoped.
Finally, a brew day. Taking time off the backyard. Need to clean up first.

No, it isn't some hazy fancy beer, this is straight up hooch made from left over peach juice and peach "nectar". A bit of simple syrup makes the flavor come through pretty nice, but this was certainly my most "quick n dirty" batch to date.
Just finished the 4 hour drive home from my son's house. I'm thirsty and this AL pils hits the spot!

Weirdest brew day for me. I use RO water but all the grocery stores with the Kiosks are closed. Ended up boiling tap water in attempt to eliminate the choromine. Our tap water runs about 9.5pH so WAG some Lactic Acid for the sparge. Anyway, OG came out on target so winning. On another note, HB Raspberry Hard Lemonade with the only Husker game I've attended.

More Lemoncello analysis. Still think my original $14 was the best. These are $17. Left had more lemon flavor. Right seems artificial. But the highest ABV of all at 30%.
