6 Harbors Brewing on Long Island made this IPA with 25 different hops they call it Kaos 99

Bitter (duh) but still somewhat smooth not to fruity not to earthy well balanced IPA
Overall a good drinking beer

HB ipa. Not my favorite style but have a six pack of bottles to drink up before it starts going to hell on me. I’d make one again though!

That's awesome. Love brewing styles I don't like. Kudos! Keep it up.

My 1st was a Gose. Gin/lime gose to be exact. 1st sample was "Yep, taste like fermented urine". But after a month was pretty good.

@TwistedGray Winter Warmer cider? Ginger? Digging it bro! Well sh!t, just realized what my Tavour package cost...I only remember getting like 5??View attachment 645100View attachment 645103

Trader Joe's cider diluted a bit; otherwise, the spices are too much.

@TwistedGray Cider. The 1776 kinda foamed over so another HB IPA it isView attachment 645201View attachment 645202

Yeah some of the 1776's came out perfectly carb'd and others completely garbage with floaties. I thought I pulled one of the only remaining good ones...apparently I was wrong, sorry.

I’m guessing the flavor I’m getting might be a combination of improper water chemistry and the sour stout addition.
It’s a “basic” dry stout recipe—
5 gallon batch
60 minute mash
60 minute boil
6 lbs 2 oz Maris Otter
1 lb 12 oz flaked barley
1 lb black barley (500 °L)
2 oz EKG (6.1%) 60 minutes
That's a lot of 500l. Maybe you should scale that back. Possibly getting acrid taste from using so much of it?
