Sipping WhistlePig while doing a reverse sear on a t-bone for dinner. This is good!

Anyways jealous of the large putting green you have back there 😁

Have you seen the news on the coast? Got some nasty flooding (again) nearby. I couldn't imagine what since of these families are going through...they already don't have the means and now 😔

In brighter news, working my way through the cellar - last nightView attachment 814893
I did see Sequel got washed away. Haven't read anything about Ben Lomond, our old stomping grounds.

Final hops are in after a very successful brew day! Woohoo! :ban: 2.5oz each of Citra and Amarillo at 8mins, following the 2.5oz Amarillo at 40mins earlier for bittering. Saved 2oz Amarillo and 4oz Citra for dry hop in 5 days.

Ran out of glassware, so sipping a Creamsicle Sour NEIPA from local Cabin Brewing in a camp mug 😁. Mmmm.

My house smells amazing, and very happy with this brew. Doing an outdoor chill after whirlpool because it's the perfect temp. Cheers everyone!😊:mug:

Been quite a while since I posted, so a bit of an update. Last time I posted, was celebrating getting over covid with Morris the nurse cat, star of the internet and of this thread in particular. After that post, I relapsed on the covid, which kept me dry for a few more weeks. Then, unexpectedly at 14 years old, my best friend and the world's best cat Morris died in my lap on 2/24 after a thankfully very brief (3 days) illness. Took quite a while to process that. Saying good bye tonight with a special bottle I bought when we brought home as a puppy the other half of my brewery name, Nigel our English bulldog. I expect to find him jumping into my chair and reclining it to his liking at moment. Sadly, that's now only a memory. 20220818_003820.jpg
