I love how they are marketing this. Aren't you supposed to grow your operation though, I dunno, revenue earned from selling your damn products?

Barrel Society members - what has Upland announced so far in the club? I'm genuinely curious what they have planned for you and what us plebs should expect in 2014 from Upland.

Well, nay-sayers, the word came out today that there is no 8 bottle reservation guarantee limit, we are now guaranteed at least 1 of every bottle released, sans lottery.

And Corbot_3000, next round is Strawberry, Raspberry and Blueberry. Afaik, all flavors will be produced at least once this year, including another try at persimmon. There will also be some not yet announced members only bottles and two collabs (New Belgium I think?). And Sour Reserve 5. We got a release schedule but I'm not remembering where I put it atm.

I knew you couldn't resist the urge.....
I'm just a lowly mule. Although maybe if I were in the Secret Barrel Society, the people at the tasting room would hand over the measly two bottles tied to the one Bloomington pickup ID I had. Now I have to jump through hoops.

The glass is nice though.

I also had those wrong location feels. Thankfully ridglens came to the rescue.

And although I already have several of that style, I like the glass more than some people I heard complain about it. We had three choices (it was voted on as you know being a SBS member) and it was my last choice, but once in hand with a fresh Blueberry *lambic* poured in it I became a fan.

I'm not a member, you sonofabitch!

So I can buy 6 Persimmon, 6 Peach and 6 of each of the New Belgium collaborations?

24 bottles of American made lambic?

Sign me the **** up.

I hate you a little bit, but mostly I'm happy for you! Gimme all of dat Persimmons doe, dat's da sheet that started my love for Upland.

In case anyone is still waiting on Persimmon redemption, you should have gotten this:

Dear Persimmon winner,

The early reservation process for our next sour release will begin one week from today. On Wednesday April 2nd you will receive an email with a link inviting you to select which bottle you would like to reserve- Persimmon, Peach, or Darksynth, an Upland and New Belgium collaboration sour. Please make your selection by the end of the day Wednesday, April 9th. This lottery will be the last time you will be able to redeem your Persimmon reservation.

When selecting your pickup location, please keep in mind the first weekend of the pickup period will be during Sour Fest. If you would like to pick up your bottle and attend Sour Fest in one trip, please select Indianapolis as your pickup location.

We will also be offering tours of the sour brewery again during the second weekend of the pickup period. These tours will be Saturday May 24th at 3pm and 4pm, and Sunday May 25th at 3, 4, 5, and 6pm. If you would like to take a tour and pick up your bottle in one trip, please select Bloomington as your pickup location. Tours will be limited to people who have a confirmed reservation. Please take care in selecting your pickup location, as it cannot be changed after your reservation has been made.

Bottles may be picked up during the pickup period at the Bloomington Brew Pub 11am-midnight Monday through Thursday, 11am-1am Friday and Saturday, and noon to midnight Sunday, or at the Indianapolis Tasting Room 4pm-10pm Monday Through Thursday and noon to midnight Friday and Saturday.
