Starting the day with some Tired Hands Dr. Grasshopper, lychee Berliner, with breakfast. Best Berliner they've done by far!

its been awhile since I drank any baynof berliner
but ive also been meaning to see if there is a difference between the fritz 1809 normal bottle and the 2009 that states there is brett in it...
but i also have 2 growlers of berliner that should be drank.

awe piss clams, its berliner ill try to do them all today while painting

Everyone should seek out Dragoon's Daisy. Probably the best non-fruited berliner I've had.

My tasting group and I have done 2 different double blind tastings with Berliners. The 2 winners from the first tasting were pitted against another 5 bottles for the second tasting. White birch was the hands down overall winner for all 6 people involved. Great stuff.

Pour Decisions in MN has a nice one called Acerbity. They also have a Chardonnay barrel aged version called Verity.

Drank this last weekend. NoDa Tart Attack. The blackberries added a bit more fruity depth to the tart/dry character. Very good.

Really like that one. Had that for breakfast at Toronado once. Beats the hell out of a mimosa.

Tried the newer Tired Hands lychee berliner on Thursday. Pretty tasty, although I'm not the biggest fan of lychee, especially after Mikkeller and New Belgium ruined it for me. I feel like I'm still waiting for TH to really nail a berliner.

I really liked the lychee Berliner. But you're definitely right, it was very fruit forward. I thought this was their strongest effort with a Berliner so far.

a friend snagged me a growler of this lychee. planning on investiagting it sunday.

to date, the tired hands brew that has impressed me the most was slava oner the kvass. it was very berliner-like. sharply tart, clean and just wowing. if "brothers" was anything like that, im pissed they have not been able to replicate anything even remotely similar since

I will say that Brothers was similar to Slava Oner, but I greatly preferred Brothers.
