Probably making my first trip Saturday, excited that there might be 3 new bottles! Any other good breweries in the area?

Sloop is 5-10 minutes away. Nice beers, good music, and local meats/cheeses to eat there or take home. Daughters Fare and Ale is down Rt 9 in Red Hook. Kevin (owner/chef) always has a nice tap list, bottles/cans to go (he gets Other Half if that's your thing), and great food.

Not sure if you want to venture further south, but Hudson Valley Brewery in Beacon is now open. They're making really nice beer - mostly sour farmhouse styles. Plan Bee is in the same general area.

Good weekend to make my first trip! My offer to alpaca for anyone stands!

Anyone gonna be there tomorrow I can touch tips with?

I might, but not 100% yet. Trying to get my friend to go since I usually end up doing these things alone (also, another driver would be nice). Haha. What time will you be there?

should be visiting in late may to do a hudson valley brewery trip, anyone know if equilibrium is open yet?

According to their Facebook, they are planning to open in mid-March. So, you should be good to go.

Anyone else experiencing buttery off flavors with Summer Whoa?

Hey Hows it going. This is Dan from Suarez family brewery. I drank a Summer Whoa on Friday night, and I did not experience any off flavors as you describe here. Send me an email at [email protected] with your name and email address. If you swing by the brewery, we can open another bottle of Summer Whoa and drink it together to analyze. Cheers.

Here now.

Call to Mind is ******* delicious. Can't wait to get into the other new ones as well.

I don't care that this place isn't right around the corner. I love that I can come here, see some dogs, and sit in the windowsill with some quality beer. (Yes, I know I wrote that on my checkin as well.) Wheeeee!

Can't wait to visit in May

Tried three new bottles this weekend, all were really quite wonderful in their own ways. Call to Mind (lemon balm, chamomile) was probably my favorite--loved how bright it was, the lemon made me think longingly of a nice warm summer day. Also opened a bottle of Slow Bustle (country beer w/ honey)--doing my best not to make HF comparisons but definitely reminded me of an Anna. The third bottle was Big Night (farmhouse pale ale, dry hopped)--subtle hops with a nice touch of sweetness that balanced out the funk.

making my way through the suarez bottle lineup, will feed into the echo chamber and say i really appreciate what theyre doing. embodies what my ideal brewery would make, low abv, very flavorful/nuanced and not just hop explosion, and they can do a variety of styles well. i like that theyre not trying to be the best/loudest but just quietly doing their own thing.
