Stuck fermemtaion, now what

I have a pumpkin saison in primary that is down from 1.090 to 1.040 and is stuck. I have swirled and tried to suspend yeast but it did not work.

Should I re pitch with the saison yeast or a new strain?

Did you use a hydrometer to confirm the 1.040 reading?

Weird. I'd expect a strange reading like that with a refractometer, but not a hydrometer.

What's the recipe? maybe I can see if there is something you can add to fix it (like amylase) if I know what the contents are.
