Is it ok in the fridge until the morning. The bag puffed up and everything. Waited the 3 hours and just got tired. Plan on getting up bright and early to brew. Wyeast website says that it's fine and to just bring up to room temp before pitching. Is that the consensus amongst the experienced here?

Thanks!

I smack mine the night before I brew and left it on the counter over night, worked just perfect

It'll be fine until then, just take the yeast out of the fridge tomorrow before pitching and allow it to warm up to pitching temps. I've ordered Wyeast smack packs before and they came already swollen somehow. Probably from shipping or warm temps. I threw it in the fridge asap until I needed to make a yeast starter. In the end, the beer came out perfectly fine.

Yes to the fridge.
Yes to warming it before using; best to try and get yeast and wort at the same temps before pitching.
FWIW, I never let my smack pack sit for 3 hours before pitching on brew day.
I even forgot to smack one time and it was fine.
