I think your word was OK. Just a simple misreading. Experiential =/= Experimental. OTOH, "experiential" sort of invokes a new age spa/retreat sort of vibe to me.

For Valhalla's sake! Have I stumbled onto some dodgy lawyers' forum or are we developing a midrash here? Just tell us what works for you. 
I've just acquired a copy of The Modern Homebrewer and, while I haven't yet read it from cover to cover, I can't say I'm blown away with it. I did look earlier to see if there was a book review forum here, but I didn't find one. I don't know if anyone else would be interested, but I'd love to discuss beer books.

I was [and still am] curious about possible criteria for comparing pitching dry vs "activated in water" from those who chose to "activate in water". I got a reasonable response. It felt appropriate to say "thank you" (vs "no further questions") to close out the sub-topic.
