I ******* hate beer.

I picked up several people after the Cycle BA Day event (I didn't attend myself). To say that some of the people leaving were not in a very coherent state would be putting it mildly. One guy was seemingly trying to pick a fight with anyone he could, then smashed his bottle on the pavement. Another was drunkenly stumbling around in such an exaggerated way that it looked like some bizarre interpretive dance.
I don't know anyone who has left BA Day drunk ever....

nobody actually tastes hazy NE ipas, everyone just looks at pictures and complains about them

Nonono, you complain about them here, then post pics of you drinking them in other threads saying how great they are.

Wait 2 years then talk about how great they were while complaining about the newest beer out there.

People hate on Veil now? They make some of the better "NEIPAs" I've had. Crucial Crucial Taunt Taunt was great. They make some dumb beers but I just see it as them having fun. I brewed an oreo beer two years before they ever did, and I did it for the lulz just like I'm sure they did.

Inb4 people criticize my palate because I'm from Florida

I agree, veil has some great IPAs, but at the rate they're going, they're moving into that funky buddha status quicker than anyone else.

Since we don't drink regular ass boring beer, but only the newest ****, while not caring about its price and social aspects - does anyone feel a lack of actual innovations?

I do think we live in a great age for drinking beer, but do we really need another hyped adjunct beer? I feel there is a trend towards new released beers, instantly trading on KBBS level or bust. Just this month delivers more than a few examples: Rarer Scooop, Hand of Glory, Fundamental Forces, Anabasis and lots of **** I don't even know about. More adjuncts, more barrels higher abv - we've been there. But people still tend to get crazy about those beers, now more then ever I guess.

Why?

I can only speak to the fact that they don't hold up well at all. I got a few roughly 2 to 3 month old cans which isn't obviously ideal but they were ******* gross drainpours.

I've been thinking about this too. I really to think the fresh stuff from TH (Julius, Green, Alter Ego etc) is awesome, but man does it fall of quickly. Contrast that with, say, Two-Hearted, which is a well-brewed beer but not OMG SUPER HAZEY JUICE **** to begin with, and which drinks totally fine still after 2-3 months.
