Ya it's a bummer, filled at Brash. Their beer so far has been pretty damn good (not so big on their hoppy stuff but the dark stuff is great) but this is the only way to get it for now... guess I'll take this one back tomorrow and give it one more go.

Agreed... I finally got a chance to try cortado and vulgar last weekend (got a newborn at home), and holy **** I could drink my weight in those.

Happy to have more Houston joints pumping out great beer.

Find some Abide, I enjoyed it more than both of those. Oh and those are 2 of the 3 crowlers I got. Vulgar Display of Power keeps leaking, can't be contained...

Yep totally realized after looking back that it was abide not vulgar I had... that was a great beer.

Their crowler machine is awful, it's not the same one that was at Petrol apparently. I've had two leak on me as well.

Hoping that Prestige Worldwide is good, definitely agree on the hoppy stuff there.

We opened a 2010 BCBCS on Saturday night. It was blinded, and everyone thought is was super coffee forward (and still very delicious). Whoever those people are that say Coffee fades into regular BCBS with time are idiots and liars.

This. I've had BCBCS with a couple years on it many times, including a bottle of '10 last year. It was like french-kissing that hot barista chick (yeah, you know who) - so much fresh coffee goodness.

Peppermint Victory at Sea? *shudders*

The only "mint" stout I can think of is Bootleggers mint chocolate brew. It wasn't as good as I had hoped, nor was it as bad as I expected. It was definitely light on the mint. Too much mint and it will be more like "Victory at Drainpour," amirite?

The fact that Lagunitas Sucks is pretty much around half the year these days is making it really difficult (amongst the other SoCal options) to really seek out IPAs/DIPAs at great cost from other locales.

1.)If you have multiples in your cellar, "It's drinking fantastically now, and likely will continue to improve indefinitely."
2.)If you just drank the last one from your cellar: "It's either at its peak or just past it."
3.)If you don't have any of them in your cellar and don't care about acquiring any: "the last time I, or someone I know, tried this it was past its peak and it has probably gone downhill since."
4.)If you don't have any of them in your cellar and you desperately want to try some: "This beer is so far past its prime it's pretty much **** at this point."

Saw them post that the other day, and threw up in my mouth a little. Victory at Sea is one of my favorite shelf go-tos. Peppermint is one of the last adjunct flavors I want. I've had one mint stout, and it did not work for me, so this just seems like gilding the lily.

Hold out for Vanilla Victory at Sea. I know it has vanilla anyway but don't settle for crap.

Perennial 17 is the only mint stout I've had I think. Actually wasn't awful. Tasted like a liquid peppermint patty. I haven't picked up another bottle since though.

Our Brewing in Holland,MI makes a killer mint stout that is draft/growler only. And Right Brain Naughty Girl Stout comes in a close second. Most every other mint stout is toothpaste.

I found a 4 pack of 2012 Saison du Barf (dfh bottling) in a liquor store last night. Thought about grabbing it for the lulz.

Yeah, I know. But the post I quoted made it sound like they were doubling up.
Anyways, my question was targeted at the bottling part, since of all the delicious-sounding variations I know they make every year, they decided to bottle the mouthwash version... Didn't know if there were plans to bottle other variations.
