******* hole in the spot that was my go to spot to find Trop when no one else had it has raised their prices. Now it's almost $3 more for a six pack than anyone else. $1 more was no big deal, $2 was irritating but being I can walk there in less than 5 minutes it wasn't worth bitching about... but $3 more is a joke. Stone's mint chocolate stout collaboration from a few years ago was pretty good, and I usually don't like most of those stone collabs.

Ken Schmidt, the homebrewer who came up with that recipe, recently re-released his same recipe under his own bottling brand (with help from Iron Fist I believe). It's probably the best mint chocolate stout I've ever had. Definitely has that York peppermint patty swag going on.

That Kona Coffee Macadamia Coconut Porter he did with Stone back in the day was probably my third favorite Stone beer ever (some order of Stonewall / 12th Anniversary beer / Kona Coffee Macadamia Coconut).

He was actually supposed to be bottling that too under the Ken Schmidt name after his Mint Chocolate Stout, but I'm not sure what happened. That was definitely a winner.

Yep, couple locals posted in the inane, insuffurable FB groups that it's out but of course no one has tried it yet as they "going to lay it down for a while."

What? Drink that **** you ******* clowns! I am going to go grab a couple tonight, will report back. It was seriously one of the best beer I drank in 2014.

It's all over Denver, at least it was recently (haven't been to a liquor store in a few weeks so it may be gone). Drank one right after I picked one up and thought it was fantastic, but I didn't have it last year so I don't have anything to compare to. All I know is I'm glad I picked up a second one to drink
