So far only seen it at the SN Tap Room in Berkeley, not sure it is fully hit distribution. I passed on a 6-pack as I would rather try a couple of bottles first to see how it is.

Guy I drink with every so often keeps referring to Tilquin Quetsche/Prunes as "The Tilquin prunes & plum variant" and every time I want to pop him in the face. Sure, I need to lighten up but ugh shut the **** up.

For some reason I have high hopes for this. Sierra beer can be iffy when they stray from their wheelhouse but given the fact they took years testing batches for this and whatnot I hope it will be good. That and prickly pear. I love some prickly pear.

I have pretty good hopes too. I generally trust that even when they do something I don't like, it's still pretty good anyway.

Examples? I can't think of a beer they've sent out into distribution that fits into your description.

Yep, couple locals posted in the inane, insuffurable FB groups that it's out but of course no one has tried it yet as they "going to lay it down for a while."

What? Drink that **** you ******* clowns! I am going to go grab a couple tonight, will report back. It was seriously one of the best beer I drank in 2014.

These people deserve to be ridiculed and/or punched in the dick.

Too many beer geeks think every beer they are buying is wine.

Saying "lay it down" about beer needs to stop. Maybe after you "lay it down" for a while it will be "drinking beautifully."

Of course, this is only true of gems.

Have to "lay down" the bottles you "scored" before you "crack" them.

I thought most of the beers in the Beer Camp Tour pack or whatever it was (all the collabs leading up to the opening of their NC facility) were pretty mediocre - a few were good and a few outright bad - and there were a lot of dumb style choices in it.

I was going to trade with a guy on the other site. When I mentioned I had some Cantillon I would move, he replied "Which Cants do you have?"

Upon reading this, I called off the trade, and have not responded to any PMs from him since.
You should've replied with "The kind you Cant have anymore"

He should have stopped with you before it even got to that point for saying "I had some Cantillon I would move"
