Did anyone like Project Pam? I was excited but I could not finish that ****. Maple and hops do not work.

My entire thought when drinking a small pour was "WHY?". I mean, it wasn't awful but why the hell would you bother even making that beer when there are so many other options for a base that would work better in those barrels. Do they choose these combinations at random or something?

I wish man. People caught wind of that **** down here and it was gone in a day.

It's usually gone pretty quick from most stores near me, but for some reason at the total wine down the road from me it sits on the shelves. Then again, it's like 20 bucks a ****** bottle

The BA version is probably one of the greatest shelf turds
I've been looking forward to trying my one bottle, but man, I hope it's better than BA Bigfoot. Just too much whisky in that one. Maybe BA barleywines just aren't for me, though...

BA bigfoot is way more whiskey forward than narwhal. Less whiskey on the narwhal and smoother as well. I'd def give it a shot.

How much different or better is Imperial Peach Bu and The Peach vs just Peach Bu. I had a Peach Bu the other night and it just blew me away. Absolutely amazing. Curious how the other 2 are and if it's worth trying to track one of them down in a trade or not.

If I’m remembering correctly, The Peach >>> Imp Peach Bu > Peach Bu. I don’t mean to be hyperbolic, but The Peach (without having done a side-by-side) might be my favorite American stone fruit sour ever…? As for Imp and regular, I did them side by side like a month ago and IIRC Imp was really fruity and rounded while regular had that Tillamook cow fart smell and tasted slightly grainier.

Yeah both bottles of Imp peach I have had tasted very good but decanted off a crazy foot odor smell with some slight sulfur odor. The bottles of regular Peach Bu had a fermented fruit thing going on- my girlfriend described it a little as a 'peach pumpkin flesh blend'.

Have yet to have The Peach (or the Purple), but with the exception of 'The Boysen', every other 'The' beer from De Garde has been stellar- creme of the crop for American Sours in my book.
