question on keggarator

I recently bought a small stand up freezer at a rummage sale. and I had heard they make the best keggarators. But, just as a test, I put my thermometer in there and put it on its warmest setting. when i pulled it out it was below 20 degrees. wouldnt that freeze the beer in the keg? Just wondering. thanks

You'd need a temperature controller that shuts the power off when it gets to the temperature YOU want it to be at.

Get a Johnson Control unit or similar, they are easy to install work great.
