A freshly fried cinnamon sugar donut is pretty hard to beat for me.
Quack quack.

Yes, won't do Peace, "Love"...anymore. Believe that the Pub Chip donut place would be pretty sweet; need to try.
Those are franchises. The one in the strip is owned by that insane dude. The one in Oakland has pro-lgbtq stuff in the window.
I thought that guy was the one who started the company though?
Yes, thought this too. So, his is the brand.
Was the Strip their first, one of their first locations? Remember going there way back, when it was primarily the dad and the daughters working, before he spoke words that weren't about sugar and flour.

I'm no rum expert, don't really enjoy it, but blows it out of the water? He has earned some pretty high accolades the past few years, I don't know if I'd be surprised someone could just be that much better with rum.Went to Gettysburg (pronounced Gettis-burg) today to visit my college buddy's new distillery. What an impressive place. And his booze is on point.
Mason Dixon Distilling, if you're in the area. His rum blows Maggie's Farm out of the water. He apprenticed with Old Scout, and I'm excited for when he is putting out his own Rye.
Also visited Tommy's Pizza, which is the ****. Posted my Crowler in the Mark Intihar thread if you're interested.
Tl;dr Gettis-burg is awesome.

Try them in a blind triangle tasting. Good way to find out if you're full of ****.I'm not one for hyperbole, but it's a billion trillion times better.
Maggie's Farm is good stuff. Didn't mean to sound negative. Poor phrasing. Let me say it this way:
I enjoy Maggie's Farm Rum, but I think this Rum is even better. My bias is probably showing, too.
I'm fairly new to bourbon but saos is by far the best I've had of all the shelf stuff in paWent to Gettysburg (pronounced Gettis-burg) today to visit my college buddy's new distillery. What an impressive place. And his booze is on point.

You ***** thinks I'm dickin' around with all the Butler magic talk but I'm not. If I had the same daily word calendar as barflybastard I'd try to wow you with some ******** vocab to get you to visit my slice of heaven but that won't work here.As much as I hate to patronize Freedom Farms (Butler co.) for various reasons, their bakeshop's donuts are titmoney. Cinsug ftw.
kbuzz - thoughts on the Melancon trade?
I am not kbuzz but I think it is a great trade this guy has a lot of upside and could be a closer in the next couple of years. The prospect they got has a big arm and hopefully can be flipped with someone else for starting pitching
He was great here and a great guy but this helps him he will get big money now that there is no pick involved when he signs.Agree. A great trade. Huge Melancon fan. Really enjoyed having him here. But Watson's ready and the return was too good especially with him due for a big money contract. Sad to see him go but had to be done.
Anyone go and try the new Voodoo beers and any thoughts?
Are you talking about Allegheny River (way to go with the name, guys)?OneDropSoup, have you heard of a brewery opening in Oakmont? I keep hearing whispers
Rivertowne did a nitro strawberry cream ale about a year ago called Silly Rabbit, seemed to be emulating Nestle Qwik. I loved the first four-ish ounces of it. Seems to be a remarkably similar concept here. Are you talking about Blueberry Flavored Kisses and Strawberry Regurgitation?

So I'm going to blow up Justin/ChurchBrewCrew's spot here, but it looks like he's taking on head brewer responsibilities at Rusty Gold Brewing, a brewpub in the works in Canonsburg.
