But in an honest general sense of Pittsburgh, Im finishing up a few things professionally and then probably getting the **** out of here. Only things I'm worried about missing are family, friends, Brew Gentlemen beer, and Insurrection wings.

On a side note, Brad at Insurrection was kind enough to give me 2 bottles of the Wild Opland that was for in house only. Just cracked one and its great dry brett and light barnyard funk and acidity. So excited for his next wild beer release. Last sample he gave me was New Glarus R&D level tasty.

Industry in Lawrenceville currently has BA Ten Fidy, Nibs and Beans Speedway, Mexican Cake Break, and Big Bad Baptista if that's your thang.

This **** is ******* aweful. It smells like feet and tastes like a mouthful of pennies. The sad thing is, the fact that theyre trying to sell this garbage for $15 a bomber isn't even the worst part.

I'll probably give Butler Brew Works a shot next time I'm back in town. But I remember when they were getting started, something like 75% of their planned beers involved fruit and/or vegetables. So I don't exactly have my hopes up.

Super pumped to check out Cellar Works. Location is great for me, so I hope they churn out some decent stuff.

Was over there for their Reserve Society party thing-y with a buddy of mine (he's the member) and it is, indeed a neat location. Beers were pretty solid, but nothing mind blowing. Think they had an IPA, Belgian Single, and some type of stout on. IPA was just OK (and not hazy), but the Single and stout were quite tasty. John's a good dude and very invested in making good beer, so I'd expect good things from them. Barrel program is in the works, as well, for what that's worth.
