Hello Pittsburgh, I am back in your city for business and had a last minute dinner cancellation, so now I have my evening free. I know its short notice but is there any particular brewery/bar that has a killer tap list tonight. (I was all set to go to brew gentlemen for the first time but it looks like they are closed on Tuesdays).

Thanks In Advance

Voodoo is open tonight and they still have (I believe)Fruit of the Vine on tap. Additionally they have Cowbell on draft and in cans as well as a couple of nice hoppy offerings. Blue Dust is close to there and typically has a really nice draft list as well.

They didn't have Fruit of the Vine when I was in there the other day, unless they got more in.

Industry in Lawrenceville currently has BA Ten Fidy, Nibs and Beans Speedway, Mexican Cake Break, and Big Bad Baptista if that's your thang.

Who's going to breakfast tomorrow?

It would be nice have someone to talk to besides ******* moarhops.

Anybody at GE Shadyside? What beers are/were they pouring for the barrel battle thing?
I'll answer my own question. Just saw the list on Twitter.
They are:
Black: KBS
Orange: dogfish head Siracusa near Yellow: black current narwhal
Green: Avery vanilla bean
Blue: rum barrel death by coconut
Red: new holland dragons milk stout

Naw, not holding out too much hope, but it's not for from me, so figured I'd give it a try. I'll try on draft before I decide if it's worth scooping a bottle or two.

I have way too much faith in humanity.

This **** is ******* aweful. It smells like feet and tastes like a mouthful of pennies. The sad thing is, the fact that theyre trying to sell this garbage for $15 a bomber isn't even the worst part.

They have another beer, brewed with honey and oysters, and fermented with pomegranates, cherries, and figs that theyre selling for $20 for a 750. Can't bring myself to try that one on tap even though I'm a gluten for punishment.

**** those guys.

Wish I had seen this earlier, I've been wanting to try that rum DBC

Are we playing Jeopardy?
What is Draai Laag Brewing Co.
Did I win the Daily Double?

Its a shame this is the brewery from our city that gets wide spread distro...

EDIT: Upon further review.. Draai Laag may have a twin..

So... What you're saying is that none of the rest of us should come and check it out?

I'm a big fan of Smallman Galley, but I just presumed that beer was going to suck.

I like the idea for the rotating food with people trying to staty a business, but the bar area is so pretentious, or maybe its just the patrons, and whoever designed the seating is and idiot.

Is there anything or any place in this city you actually enjoy? Part of this is troll mode the other half is honestly curious whether or not you actually like anything

I've never felt like it was overly pretentious at all, honestly. I really enjoy it in there.
