I started homebrewing around 1994. Migrated from extract to all grain after a year - read Charlie Papazians The New Complete Joy of Homebrewing cover to cover! Also moved to kegging in corny kegs.
Stopped as kids got older and work more busy.
Im now retired in Redding CA - and just purchased a used Grainfather G30 that also included the GF30 and strike water heater! Added a nice Kegerator for the garage :)
Looking forward to digging out my old recipes and brewing again!

Welcome back to brewing.

I also started with The New Complete Joy of Homebrewing. There have been lots of developments since then. I recommend Palmer's How to Brew, E4 to get somewhat up-to-date, although it was written in 2017 IIRC. Still probably the best source now. One change from that time is dry pitching of yeast - you can learn about that on the yeast company websites. Have fun.
