Conducted water test tonight, was able to heat water to strike temp no problem except it overshot my setting by 4 degrees? I was able to maintain RIMS temp flawlessly. My other problem was boiling I set the PID to 215 and the highest temp that I was able to maintain was 190 then it dropped to 180 but the element was clearly on? Any help is appreciated. The boil and HLT share the same PID

Which PID model? Did you run the Autotune procedure? Did you calibrate the temp probe (RTD or TC?) with the PID? What was your volume of water in your test? What size heating element? What voltage are you running the element on?

2352, I did auto tune and calibrate maybe ill try it again

5500W element 240V 50A. Same power I used on my last electric setup (with BCS)

Thanks
