I'm doing some research before I order my keezer components and have seen a few comments here and on reddit about Perlick 630SS faucets opening too easily, possibly attributed to heavy tap handles. I haven't seen many, just a couple. For those that use the 630, is this something you've run into? How heavy is heavy if they have been giving you problems?

No issues with mine and my tap handles are 30mm dummy rounds from an A-10.

They do actuate very effortlessly, but never had an issue of them opening up on their own.

Saw the thread title and I thought for sure you had the same issue I did... that it is way too easy to open my tap an pull a few swigs every time I pass by it! : )

Seriously, I agree with JimEb - the design is such that mine never stick and open quite effortlessly. I've got those big ole' fashioned heavy wooden handles on mine and I've never had a problem with them accidentally opening.

I imagine such reports stem from door-mounted or collar-mounted faucets opening when the door or lid is moved.
It wouldn't take much inertial for a tall handle to open a Perl...

Cheers!
