The next brew on tap, an oatmeal stout, calls for British ale yeast.

My house strain (thanks to washing) is Wyeast Pacman.

Will there be a significant difference if I ferment with Pacman vs. a British ale yeast?

It'll be different. Whether that is good or bad, depends on what you like. Pacmac is a clean yeast with high attenuation. British yeast (most, but not all) tend to be more fruity and lower on the attenuation scale. It just depends what you want in the oatmeal stout.

It will be different, but for what its worth I use either pacman or wyeast 1056 in my oatmeal stout recipe.
