Friends, Pacific Gem hops are crap. Do the industry a favour and do not buy them. The sooner they rip them out, the better.

Zero hop aroma or flavour. Berry? Oak? Wishful thinking. The best that can be said about them is a soft bittering.

Life is too short. Learn from my mistake and do not buy them.:rockin:
 
I should add that in a 5 gal batch, I used a 21g at 60 and then 53g at 5m. 90% pilsner, 10% wheat. It has a low, soft bitterness and no hop presence.

You'd have no idea I used almost two ounces late hopping.
 
A mate of mine used them and hated them. Reckoned it made his beer taste like he was chewing on a stick. Either way they don't sound good.
