I'm completely new to brewing and beer production. I'm trying to start off at the bottom level and started to grow some hops. I'd like to get to the point of starting a micro-brewery, but I'm just going to start off slow and see how things go. I hope to learn a bunch from this forum and other resources.

You could spend days going through all the discussions on here. It's a great resource, especially for specific problems. I'm not sure if you make it down to Springfield often, but there's a sweet homebrew store in Ozark.
When I started out I just spent about an hour talking to the guys at the local shop and they taught me the most important basics.
I'll be moving to Bennett Spring in a month or so, and you'd be more than welcome to come over on a brew day.
