(i looked at okinauwa, didn't look dig enough an island....)

That architecture has to be Scotland, probably east-coast Scotland - or a very close pastiche of it.

But most Scottish ports are a bit shabbier than that, the new buildings left and right suggest there's a bit of money around, either from tourism or the oil industry.

And I've been to quite a lot of that east coast and I don't recognise it.

Based on your information I’m going to say Edinburgh Scotland, even though I don’t recognize it. I feel like a fairly worldly person until I start playing this game with you guys.

Scotland it is, but Edinburgh it is not.

You have to be a lot colder than Edinburgh to get this one. And to like setting fire to things during a party.

Ah, that makes sense, I've not been up that faar. But my availability is going to be a bit patchy for the next few days, so I won't claim it.

That’s a remarkably forgiving angle for the picture, based on having been there. Here’s another angle... I’m not claiming, as I’ll be off-line for a couple of weeks.

Lerwick!

Perused the coasts for too long, read about the fire festival, then went back to Lerwick and browsed some more. Pretty sure I found those buildings. Shot taken somewhere around Victoria Pier. The first picture, anyhow.

There appears to be one heck of a boat nearby, painted in black and white. In the google street view anyhow. Not sure if it's always there. It's both cool and hard to look at, at the same time.

Lerwick it is, taken from a yacht moored off Victoria Pier in the small boat harbour. The black and white vessel is an accommodation barge that was used from 2013 to 2016 for workers building a gas plant on the island.

Edit: Not sure if the pattern actually means something artistically, but that paint job is very much dazzle camouflage used by ships in the wars.

Tracer, you're up.

Wikipedia says this is Rowes Wharf in the Boston, MA "Harborwalk". But I think you should have another go with a new picture because this one was named and I couldn't avoid reading it just as I hovered the mouse over the image.
