Using the name of the formation and figuring out the name of the river would be a novel approach.

Based on the presence of the tourists in the canoe in the foreground, I’m going to guess the Gorges de l'Ardèche in France.

I spent way too much time looking at bridges over rivers in the Alps today...

Innsbruck it is. Innsbruck means bridge over the River Inn. The bridge in the picture is the "old bridge" and is the one in that map intersection. That dark thing at the upper right side is a roof eave of the building I took the picture from.
