Saw them last night just after sunset. Fortunately, my house is on a hill 4 blocks from the Pacific Ocean, facing West, so I had a clear view of the planets. Tonight should be another great show.

I've been watching them the last couple of nights. From where I'm at I get about 20 min. to look before they get to low to see thru my telescope. Trees and telephone polls in my way.

Unfortunately, my telescope is not that good! It was taken by the 4.3m Lowell Discovery telescope in Arizona: 4.3-meter LDT - Lowell Observatory

The seeing is not great in Syracuse NY, unfortunately. If we'd had good weather, I would have opened up the dome of the Holden Observatory

Although, the Celestrons we have in the basement are actually better telescopes.
