Was killing a little time and started working on a logo for a good friend who got me involved in home brewing. He does a lot of woodwork and uses barn wood in most his work. So I wanted to have a rustic look for his logo. He also mentioned he had the nick name "Rooster" back in the day.

Just wanted to see what yall though....

Suggestions and opinions always welcome.....:mug:

What about a barn with the Rooster wind thing on top? That is what I would go for.

I think the rooster is a bit dark on the background, but other than that it looks great. I think instead of changing the rooster though, I'd go with a lighter wood grain instead.

Agreed. The lighter wood will give you more contrast in the details of the rooster. As is the area around the wings and neck gets a little muddled- hard to see the details. Nice design though. :)

Yea, I debated the dark rooster myself. He mentioned a rooster silhouette, but I wanted to have a tad of detail being the reason I flushed it like I did. Let me go back and see if I can find a slightly lighter wood.

I will try to find a lighter/grayer barn wood. Think that may let the rooster stand out a tad more. I do know I want to go with a barn wood look. Especially seeing how that is the type of lumber he works with 90% of the time.

Nice. A little confusing being "Cox" vs "Cocks", since it is a "Cock" pictured. I assume "Cox" is his real name? Where would the type go? Maybe around the top in the same banner as the bottom?
