Cool! Funny to see that the gueuze was more popular then Belgoo or atleast when I was there.

Who wants to start "signing" the "agreement" on behalf of a few breweries???
Sorry I had a hard time understanding the article, are they actually open for a visit or is it distributed only?Yeah, for sure !
I arrived around 4PM and it was quite crowdy then.
The straight lambic Belgoo served was very good imho.
How is that? I guess Cantillon boils for more than 4 hours? The funny thing is none of the HORAL members could apply for this mark on all their beers, except maybe 3F. Cantillon also not...
That beer was weird. And also Iris wouldn't qualify either. They also have a 9% abv beer.
Its not for the brewery but for specific beers rightThey also have a 9% abv beer.

Thank you for the clarification! Not open for visits as far as I know.
They use their home depot to produce the gueuze.
Their gueuze could be tasted and bought during the event of Belgoo's open brew day last Sunday.
Belgoo makes the lambic they use for the Brett-Elle Gueuze.
Lou Pepe series adds sweet liquor to carbonate which I believe is a no no.How is that? I guess Cantillon boils for more than 4 hours?
It came in one of the pre-arranged boxes at Belgiuminabox.James jtclockwork didn't you order some?

Yeah, but HORAL complains about the use of the terms lambic and gueuze, and some US breweries tries to come up with very very strict standards for some new sort of name. At the same time HORAL don't have any standards and base their objections on traditions that are long gone. And it's not even Lindemans or Mort Subite, the Boon brewing process might not even qualify, and all their special releases certainly don't as they all have high abv. It's all so arbitrary and ridiculous to me.Its not for the brewery but for specific beers right
Through Etre probably.Lindemans Ginger Gueuze up on Etre.
is this coming to the states?

Checking in on Special Blend. Green apple tartness followed by heavy hay notes. As it warms up, an almond/nutty presence shines. Really wish I had stocked up on a lot more of these.
Last year when I went to Brussels I decided to email Lindemans to see if they had any Special Blend to-go at the brewery. I didn't have time to take the tour but they let me swing by and grab a few bottles. Only have 1 left, also need to get some more![]()

The gouging on the Special Blend (and the bizarre dry ice and Halloween schtick in the barrel room) kind of ruined the Lindemans experience at TdG - the other prices were a bit toppy but it kind of sent a message that the only people who knew what it was (geeks) would buy it, and priced it accordingly? They are quite rare to find these days.
Lindemans multiplied the price of the Special Blend 2010 this year by 3.
Last year they were 10 € / bottle , this year 30 €
Luckily I've got some stock left![]()

So apparently the Boon Vat Box isn't coming to NYC because their NYC distributor no longer imports/distributes them. (Manhattan Beer Distributors). Interestingly, Remarkable Liquids is bringing them into the state, but only upstate.
Anyway I'm sure y'all don't care about that. What I'm here to ask is: is the Boon Vat Box a shelfie anywhere in America or am I stuck ordering online and paying ridiculous shipping costs?
