Sure, for you personally, but you're possibly the person who's most emotionally/intellectually invested in lambic that doesn't produce it. I mean for the average ****** on BA. (Also, I don't have any issue whatsoever with Cantillon charging $TEXAS to Americans for their beers, charity or no, I'm questioning why we automatically assume this will be a shitshow.)I mean, I guess, but with the money going to charity I see absolutely no issue with it.
Eh. How many of the people who are going to be F5ing for these know the first thing about these grapes? Hell, how many would even be able to pick these beers out of a lineup of St Lam and Vigneronne dyed red? My guess is not very many. Certainly not enough to crash the site. The fact is that as far as the vast majority of beer nerds' palates are concerned it really is "just some grape beer", but no one is good enough at introspection to realize that.You and I both know it's silly to call it "some grape beer", because we both know it is expressly not that. That's not how this works and it hasn't worked like that for many years.
Or maybe I'm just jaded, I dunno.
