BFNA?
Nope, I wish (and we do have some amazing treats coming from Cantillon), but love the Loris pic!

I finally completed my new cellar space and shelving. As a consequence it gave me an opportunity to match my spreadsheet against what I actually had. It was mostly accurate but I decided to immediately drink anything that wasn't on there - about a case worth of lambic. First one: Oud Beersel Oude Geuze bottled March 25, 2010. Time hasn't done anything to slow the carbonation on this as the cork exploded odd on its own. Nice, clean geuze that's not showing any signs of age, but it's quite bitter. Thar bitterness takes over quite a bit and masks a deep grainy/grassy taste with very little funkiness. It doesn't have a particularly bright, fresh, and somewhat citrus feel that I get from newer Beersel geuze, but this is a vintage bottle that I could see being a great introduction to the style.

I hear this is common for LA customs. Buy they sent back to Cantillon so maybe Jean Roy would be willing to send again? Would recommend finding a friend from Central time Zone to the Atlantic to send instead of you so it goes through New York.

In a sign of things that are awesome... Julie Van Roy contacted me about the transaction failure and offered to still fulfill the order if I was still interested in purchasing it. Amazing!

boogercrack can you share the contact info you received (privately, of course)?

BiaB says my shipments would be going through west coast customs and they have a 2/3 success rate. Is it worth rolling the dice?

Also thanks thanks @boogercrack @BadJustin @capnmike @jrstar96

I wouldn't. I'm of the mind that if you have enough cash to drop in a BiaB order then it's worth having it shipped somewhere not west coast. I'm honestly shocked that Montana shipments are going through NY or CHI but since this thjng started a few years ago I've never had it go through LAX. I did a couple small orders as tests to see. Oddly though, other mountain west states like CO are having nodes go through LAX at least on occasion.
