Very cool to see this yesterday, thanks for sharing. Even cooler I had the strength to resist placing an order even though 10 were in stock.

I got a lindemans elderflower on the docket for consuming soon. I never got much elderflower character in mamouche but I recently had an elderflower berliner with vibrant elderflower character that really got my hopes up for this lindemans.
Very rad, I really want to try that Lindemans.

I thought Mamouche tasted kind of pickled when I first had it. I don't know why exactly since it wasn't acetic at all, but it was just not really very enjoyable for me. After decanting the last one I had for 20 minutes as instructed from here, it was a delightfully different experience. Interesting floral thing came out which was really cool. I wonder if that is the same for the Lindemans? Perhaps try and hard pour a little and let it sit a bit, for science?

Anyone know if Cuvée Rene Kriek is still making the rounds? Or if it ever made the rounds in the Bay Area?
Yep and Yep. Just trying to remember last place I saw some, might have been either Ledger's or possibly Healthy Spirits. I forget, I'll try and remember.

It should be continually available moving forward via MdV is my understanding so I'm sure you'll see it eventually :)

No of course it wouldn't. Kiwis themselves aren't that green.

Apparently it was the sun shining through the bottle onto the glass. He deleted the picture because the brewery was getting tons of mails about it. How can people not take lambic seriously??

On a sidenote, strawberries do give some kind of green color to lambic

Correction $7

I ended up buying four of the five they had out. Total was $30 w/tax. If they had six or more out, I'd buy to get that sweet $0.70 discount.

If anyone is interested, the Nob Hill in Redwood City has at least one bottle left.
RWC Nob Hill has restocked the OKV for the same stupidly cheap price if anyone is interested.
