One bottle of CR in the car for the next week. Current temp 110deg

Be careful with lambic & hot cars! Took a bottle home the other day, had to stop by a friend on the way home, took longer than expected. When I jumped in the car, the cork was half way out:

Really stepped on it to make it in time and then BOOM.

Your car's door pocket functions great as a lambic basket.

That second pic is sexy though...

Yes, yes, let the hate flow through you. Cantillon are overrated and expensive these days. Everybody out the pool.
eh i wouldn't go that far i love their seasonal stuff, but anything beyond that i wouldn't even know where to begin. stuff like 50n or blab is too rich for my blood, maybe i'll try them one day but i'm not holding my breath. :p

Am I the only one that doesn't get excited about blabaer?

*raises hand*

Been wanting to try for a few years and meager trade attempts yielded squat.

Had the '12 - '15 vertical in Copenhagen at Himmergeit?. It was good, but underwhelming compared to lots of other great stuff I had over there on the trip ('05 Viggy). There has been more memorable blueberry american wild ale saison lambics.

Blabaer seemed to be an afterthought for most people when I was in Himmer over CBC week. The kind of thing you scroll past on that menu.

2015 was tasty though.

I don't get it. It's lambic. It's blueberries. What's the problem?

Granted it doesn't have Fermier or Flora in the name so obviously it's not God tier, but it's quite a tasty beverage.

I can't believe I'm defending a fruited Cantillon. Has the world gone completely mad?

No, it's just not better than St Lam, Fou, LPK and so on. But since it's harder to acquire, there's folks that put it down.
