I read an interesting article somewhere not that long ago that claimed the U.S. actually has higher recycling rates than most of Europe even though Europeans favor the bottle deposit. It surprised me.

Our national diet consists of a sixer of Coke Zero per day.

Popping any bottles for your big day?

Haven't really thought about it. Probably nothing too crazy. Maybe a 50n? Possibly bust out a Cantillon Classic mag? Or maybe just drink a few Yuenglings. Really depends on how the day goes.

^ I seriously hope that was from one of your guys' BA trolling accounts

Ya know 80%+ of us can't see the trade forums, on BA, right?

Just for you and the other 80% +

4 bottles of A&G (Let's start calling it A&G so it gets associated with A&T and the value rises quicker) plus extras for a case of heady doesn't seem like such a bad trade. I would not want to ship a case of heady overseas though due to price.
Ya no lie I'd be tempted to jump on that if I was in VT based on the assumption I won't be able to even get 1 bottle of A&G down here in Texas...

Ugh.

Think of it this way: it's a case of cans for a regular 1, 2, 3yr old geuze blend. No barrel treatment, no special aged beers in the blend, just a geuze. Simply the first bottlings of a long line of hopefully many 100% 3F brewed blends.

Anyone opening one of those mags inside of 10 years is likely making a mistake, especially since there are 750s from the same bottling date.
do you put all your mags in a sealed vault and label it "don't open until the next decade". jokes on you i have the combination thanks for the beers!

Anyone have some 8/21/15 bottles of GCB they want to part with? It's my son's birth date so trying to get my hands on a few....

And before this isn't the ISO:FT forum, I figured this might be more useful for me.

I'll check for you. If I forget, which is likely, remind me. We can probably do an IP swap.

So that '06 OGV (I think?) you opened before neorunner's wedding in 2013 was a willful mistake? Or evidencing of your present disposition?

Was ******* fantastic IMO, thank you

That was a 2004 3F OG magnum (propped up by a pineapple, no less!), but geuze is a different animal than straight up lambic IMO. I think it's rare that Bruoc is phenomenal right out of the gate, so I much prefer to let them sit for a while.
