I had 2014 boos a few times at huna day (march) an the carb was totally fine. had one more bottle a few weeks later and same thing. I had a bottle when it first was released and was totally flat, but my last couple experiences were much different.
We had a bottle of '14 boos last weekend and found it nicely carbed. This was my first and only time having it so I don't have much to compare it to. Having said that, it didn't resemble the "flat" notes and comments I've read recently.
 
Hoping a beer that has been bottled for two years and hasn't fully carbed up eventually will is about like hoping your thirty year old kid will finally move out of your house.


I'm also not exactly why some people get so hung up on carbonation.

WASN'T CHAMPAGNE LEVEL CARBED, DRAIN POUR.

Might be a little still, but it tastes great. That's what I'm in for.
 
I pick up a weird vinegar taste in the three bottles I have had since release.

Id rather a beer be flat than over-carbed.
There is a certain "carbonic" character that gets imparted in excessively bubbly beer that I cant stand even after trying to degass it

I haven't read any of the past few pages but this talk of carbonation reminded me that I had a Tilquin gueuze the other day and it was almost painful how carbonated it was. I could tell there was a great neer there but that carb was so off putting, I couldn't look past it. Anyone else experience that?

This Hommage '15 I'm drinking right now though is pretty much perfect in every way.

This is the reason why Tilquin^2 exists, and I'm so happy it does.
